John Davis

John Davis began to write poems when he was in mortuary school in an attempt to try to explain himself as he was embalming the unclaimed dead of the city. Since then his awareness has grown of how the semi-rusted textures of Pittsburgh and its weathered terrain has become fused with the inner imaginal landscapes that he writes from.
